We are a fee only practice. This means we receive no commissions from the sales of any products. We believe that this business model best aligns our interests with those of our clients. Our fee is based on a percentage of the assets that we are asked to manage and varies based on the amount of assets.
Your funds are held by major financial custodians, such as Charles Schwab or TD Ameritrade. Watermark never holds any client funds directly.
Unlike many registered financial firms, we do not have a posted minimum. Instead we prefer to conduct an initial consultation with the client and determine if the relationship is a good fit over the long term.
Yes! Thanks to technology, we have clients throughout the United States and beyond. We utilize software that allows us to conduct “virtual” meetings wherever our clients may be.
Watermark has a talented group of advisors, portfolio managers, and financial planners that work as a team with you. Most of our clients work primarily with one advisor who then coordinates the rest of the staff to participate in meetings as needed.
